Hey all, we’ve had lots of new members join us that are looking to start a marketplace, so I wanted to share a post here with more about our marketplace resources that we’ve created for going from 0-1. As a reminder, you can also find all our our resources (for all stages) on the Marketplaces resources section on our main platform.

This post should be helpful for learning about the early-stage resources that we’ve created and I’ll also include a few tips for how you can use them to make meaningful progress when going from 0-1 when building a marketplace.

Marketplace School

Marketplace School is our online course for learning how to build & launch a marketplace startup. It’s self-guided and the goal is to help founders learn how to build a successful marketplace. We've created the Marketplace School curriculum (100+ modules) and course material to help guide founders every step along the way of going from initial idea to launch, building liquidity, to even considerations when scaling at the later stages. This is the best starting point for learning about marketplaces and also how/where to get help in the community.

Marketplace Co-Founder Match

We created our Marketplace Co-Founder Match to make it easy for community members to connect with potential co-founders (both technical & non-technical). Marketplace Knowledge Hub

We created our Marketplace Knowledge Hub to easily find content for learning about marketplaces and specific topics. Our knowledge hub also has the recordings from our past 25+ workshops, along with 200+ group chats that we’ve had with guests like Andrew Chen from a16z, Marco Zappacosta from Thumbtack, Grant LaFontaine from Whatnot, Bastian Lehmann from Postmates, Spencer Rascoff from Zillow, and more. This is the "go-to" place for finding content on specific marketplace topics, along with the recordings from our past community events.
