Hey all, I’ve been working on how we can leverage AI with the community over the past few weeks and I’m excited to finally announce our Community AI Agent today!

Our Community AI Agent is a chat-style interface for getting help with any question you have on building, launching, or scaling marketplaces. It’s trained on over 8,000+ posts in the community, some of the most common questions, resources that have been shared, Marketplace School course material, and even the recordings from our past 185+ group chats that we’ve had with top marketplace founders & leaders. In addition to helping answer questions from prompts, it can also provide guidance, input, and feedback through conversations.

You can also use it to get help with any questions that you might have about the community and learning how to get the most out of being a member. It’s trained on our FAQ, common questions about the community, all of our community user manuals, etc.

How to get started using our Community AI Agent

1. Go to the "Direct messages" icon at the top right from the community homepage on desktop so you can access your inbox. You can then click on "Agents".
2. Click on "New conversation" and use a prompt to starting using our Community AI Agent (i.e: "How do I solve the cold start problem?", "How can I use supply to help drive demand?", "What are typical take rates for B2B Marketplaces?", "How do I recommend a group chat guest?")
3. You can also click on the "Sources" at the bottom of an answer to see posts, resources, etc on the topic for additional reading or help.
4. In addition to getting help with specific questions, you can also us it to get feedback, input, and even tips suggesting next steps on topics through more natural conversation.

I’m excited to launch our Community AI Agent today as the first step for how we’re going to be leveraging AI. I think this AI agent will be a huge help for founders here and make it even easier to turn to the community for help, guidance, and support. I also wanted to note that we’re going to continue to refine it as the model we’re using improves, train it on more material, etc. Please be sure to share your feedback with us here below after you have a chance to use it.
