Intro

Hi - I am the cofounder along with my daughter Zoe Jecker, her husband and my husband of The Gear Project.  We solve the problem of giving outdoor adventurers a way to buy and sell lightly used outdoor gear and clothing in the US.

We’ve bootstrapped the marketplace with Sharetribe platform and Journey Horizon as our developer - started on the project in February 2026. We are supported by Zoe and Kelby’s 1 M plus content creation business in the outdoor adventure space (@the_adventureaddicts).

Sellers ship directly to buyers, which keeps prices fair and payouts strong. Built by a family of outdoor lovers who believe great gear deserves a long life and a fair price.
