I’m Rob Van Laer, founder of Leasee, a purpose-built marketplace modernizing how sale-leaseback and ground lease transactions are sourced and executed. We’re bringing structure, transparency, and liquidity to a traditionally offline and fragmented corner of commercial real estate.
Leasee is an AI-powered marketplace that connects commercial real estate owners, investors, brokers, and service providers to execute sale-leaseback and ground lease transactions online. This segment of the market remains highly fragmented, opaque, and largely offline—reliant on specialized brokers, one-off relationships, and manual processes that make it difficult for owners to efficiently access capital and for investors to source deals at scale. Leasee® centralizes the transaction lifecycle on a single platform, supporting deal marketing, underwriting, negotiation, and closing through standardized data, structured workflows, and improved discovery, bringing greater transparency, efficiency, and repeatability to complex lease-structured transactions.
